What We Haul — Complete List of Items Junk It and Dump It Takes (and Doesn't Take)

What We Take — And What We Don't

One of the most common questions before a junk removal job is: can you take this? The answer is almost always yes. Tony and the crew at Junk It and Dump It Services haul just about everything — with a short list of things that genuinely can't go in any hauling truck by law, not by preference.

If you're not sure, just call or text (951) 293-0455 and ask. Straight answer, every time.

Yard Debris & Green Waste (Pre-Cut Only)

We haul green waste, but everything must be pre-cut, bundled, and ready to load. We don't trim, cut, or clear live vegetation. What we do take:

  • Cut tree branches and brush piles

  • Palm fronds and cut palm trunk sections

  • Bagged leaves and yard trimmings

  • Bundled brush and cleared landscape debris

  • Grass clippings and trimmings — bagged or piled

Construction & Renovation Debris

  • Drywall and plaster debris

  • Wood framing, cabinets, and flooring tear-outs

  • Concrete — heavy material, affects pricing

  • Roofing shingles — heavy, affects pricing

  • Artificial turf and dirt — heavy, affects pricing

  • Wood fencing, deck boards, and patio structures

Garage, Storage Unit & Hoarder Cleanouts

  • Mixed junk, boxes, bins, and totes

  • Old tools, equipment, and hardware

  • Hoarder cleanouts — full home or room by room

  • Eviction cleanouts — everything left behind by previous tenants

Light Demolition — We Tear Out and Haul

  • Sheds and small backyard structures

  • Playsets and swing sets

  • Wood fencing and gates

  • Hot tubs and spas

  • Deck boards and patio tear-outs

  • Non-structural interior demo: cabinets, vanities, drywall, flooring

What We DON'T Take

A short list of things no hauling company can legally take to a standard dump facility:

  • Metal shelves and metal shelving units

  • Hazardous waste — paint, solvents, chemicals, pesticides

  • Motor oil, antifreeze, and automotive fluids

  • Tires — California law prohibits hauling in standard trucks

  • Asbestos-containing materials

  • Medical or biohazardous waste

Not sure if your item makes the list? Call or text (951) 293-0455 and Tony will give you a straight answer.
